Classic Cheeseburger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of American cheese
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm up the grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat
Make burger patties out of the four equal parts of ground beef
Add pepper and salt
Burger patties should be cooked for three to four minutes on each side on a grill or griddle for medium-rare to medium, or until they are done the way you like them
Add a slice of American cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking
Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown
Put lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and onion slices on the bottom bun of each burger to make it
Put the burger patty on top of it
Put ketchup and mustard on the top bun, then put it on top of the patty to finish the burger
You can enjoy your classic cheeseburger while its still hot
