Bagel Sandwich Burger
Ingredients:
- 2 bagels, sliced in half
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 slices red onion
- 4 pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions:
Warm up the grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat
Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, and then shape it into two burger patties
Put the burger patties on the grill or pan and cook them for four to five minutes on each side until they are medium-rare
Cover and add a slice of cheddar cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking
This will melt the cheese
You can toast the bagel halves on the grill or in a toaster while the burgers are cooking
Add the mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise and mix them together to make a unique sauce
Put the bagel sandwiches together: Put the sauce on the bagels cut sides
On the bottom half of each bagel, put a lettuce leaf
Then, put a burger patty with melted cheese on top of that
Put tomato, red onion, and pickle slices on top of the burger patty
Last, finish the sandwich by adding the other half of the bagel on top
Serve right away and enjoy
