  • 1 tablespoon of mirin rice wine
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds optional

Instructions:

Put 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of mirin, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil in a bowl

To make the marinade, mix it well

Put 6 large eggs into a slow cooker with care

Dont forget to cover the eggs in the slow cooker when you pour the marinade over them

For 4 hours, cook the eggs in a slow cooker on low heat

The eggs will become soft and custard-like after being cooked slowly

Take the eggs out of the slow cooker when they are done cooking and put them in a bowl of cold water to stop cooking and cool down

First, peel the eggs and cut them in half down the middle

If you want, you can add sesame seeds to the eggs for extra flavor and decoration

As a tasty and healthy snack or starter, serve the Korean sauna-style eggs
