Creamy Broccoli, Chicken, and Bacon Pasta
Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into strips
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat
Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy
Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain
In the same skillet, add the chicken strips and cook until they are no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and saut for about 30 seconds until fragrant
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until its fully melted and the sauce is creamy
Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and broccoli florets to the skillet
Stir to combine and heat through
If the sauce is too thick, you can add a bit more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve the creamy broccoli, chicken, and bacon pasta hot, garnished with the crispy bacon and fresh parsley
