Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce
This Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce is the perfect addition to your holiday desserts. Its rich, chocolatey, and incredibly easy to make. Drizzle it over ice cream, brownies, or any sweet treat to elevate your holiday celebrations.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup 30g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup 160ml evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup 60ml water
- 2 tablespoons 28g unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup 90g semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt
Gradually add the evaporated milk and water while whisking continuously to create a smooth mixture
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly
Allow it to boil for about 2 minutes, or until it thickens
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the unsalted butter until fully melted
Add the vanilla extract and semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and the sauce is smooth
Let the hot fudge sauce cool for a few minutes before serving
Pour the sauce over your favorite ice cream or dessert, and enjoy
