If you follow these safety tips, you can use your Instant Pot pressure cooker in a safe and fun way.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Instant Pot pressure cooker
  • 1 cup water
  • Food items to cook

Instructions:

Ensure the Instant Pot is clean and all parts are in good condition

Place the Instant Pot on a stable surface

Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot

Place the food items into the Instant Pot

Close and lock the lid securely

Set the pressure release valve to the sealing position

Select the cooking time and pressure level as per your recipe

Wait for the Instant Pot to come to pressure before cooking starts

Once cooking is complete, allow natural pressure release or perform a quick release as per your recipe

Open the lid carefully, facing away from you, to avoid steam burns
